I was away this past Sunday on retreat with about 70 members of our church family, so my longtime friend Joel Mackey stepped in to bring the message in Alameda. Joel is executive director of Harbor House Ministries in Oakland, a creative outreach organization which has served East Oakland's multi-cultural communities for 35 years.
