Children are dismissed from the 10 AM Sunday morning worship service after the Children’s Message. Our Sunday school is taught to children from pre-K to 5th grade.

We use the GODLY PLAY curriculum.

Children’s Ministry

What is Godly Play?

Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiral curriculum, the Godly Play method serves children through early, middle and late childhood and beyond. Godly Play is a rich, child-focused, worship-based approach to Christian education. Spiritual heritage storytelling is the centerpiece of this approach to creating a fuller awareness of the mystery and wonder of God in our lives.

Children aged 3 years and older are invited to join us for Godly Play after the Passing of the Peace during worship on Sunday mornings. Godly Play is located upstairs in the Christian Education building.
