This class is led by Paul Capel, an environmental scientist and frequent facilitator environmental care discussions with church groups and university students.

Session has called a Special Congregational Meeting to accept the retirement request of Pastor Cindy, and to change the pastor’s Terms of Call after approving her retirement request. Please plan to attend the meeting which will be held in the Parlor.
Summer 2026 Women’s Book Study

Are you asking yourself if you still matter?
Come join the book study reading of Do I Still Matter? The Secrets of Aging with Faith and Purpose by Kim Taylor Henry. The group will discuss how to deal with life challenges that accompany aging and discover the forty secrets of aging that lead to living confidently and purposefully in this decade and beyond!
The book study will be held in Pastor Cindy’s office for 8 Thursdays beginning June 18. Participation will be limited to 12 women, on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of the paperback book is $13.00. To sign up, contact Daisy at 415.606.3052 by June 4.

Wash, chop, dice, slice, and cook up a “stick-to-your-ribs” hot meal
for more than 100 unsheltered Alamedans.
Enter through the church kitchen door off of Chestnut Street for the
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM shift and/or 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM shift.
All volunteers are welcome.
All people needing a hot meal are welcome.
